Welcome to Fusion Pride Northern Beaches

Our Mission

Fusion Pride Northern Beaches is building upon a healthy local LGBTQIA+ community through the pillars of inclusion, visibility and respect.

We take a leading role in supporting the community development of local queer groups by offering means of meaningful social connection, education, events, advocacy and support networks.

We invite Northern Beaches residents and visitors who identify as LGBTQIA+ to be part of our group that acknowledges you and celebrates your inclusion in our wider community.

    We’ll proudly 'stroll and roll' around Long Reef headland’s accessible 3.1km loop track, before returning to Collaroy Tennis Club for a classic Bunnings sausage sizzle and social tennis.

  • We absolutely rely on the generosity and time of our community! There are many ways to get involved, whether you have a few hours a week or can help with a single event.

    • Volunteer: We are always looking for help with event setup/tear-down, administrative tasks, and outreach.

    • Join a Committee: If you have specific skills in fundraising, marketing or program development, consider joining one of our working committees.

    • Attend Events: Simply showing up to our community gatherings and events is a powerful way to show support and get connected.

  • Yes, everyone is welcome! We strive to be an inclusive space for the entire community.

    • Allies & Family: We strongly encourage allies and family members of LGBTQI+ individuals to attend most of our public events, volunteer and get involved to show their support.

    • Questioning Individuals: If you are exploring your identity, you are welcome to attend our programs. We offer safe, non-judgmental spaces and resources specifically for those who are questioning or newly out.

    Note: Very occasionally, we may host a closed group meeting for specific members (e.g., a trans-only support group) to ensure a safe space for dialogue. These will always be clearly marked.

  • We deeply appreciate the support of local businesses and organisations that share our commitment to equality and community well-being. Becoming a sponsor is a fantastic way to show your commitment while gaining visibility among our members.

    • Event Safety: All our events operate under a clear Code of Conduct which prohibits harassment, discrimination and disrespectful behaviour. We often have designated safety liaisons or staff present who are trained to handle any issues discreetly and professionally.

    • Online Security: Our website uses secure protocols to protect your data.
